Cantabrian Chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra).
The chamois is distributed in Castile and Leon only by the highest zones of the Cantabrian Mountains, that is to say by the north of the provinces of Leon and Palencia.
Their hunting period is divided into two: the first lasts from the beginning of June to the middle of July, and the second from the beginning of September to the middle of November.
The valuable trophy of the chamois are the horns attached to its clean skull, complete or not. For its valoration the trophy must contribute you, besides clean of all strange matter, without mounting in the table.
Hunting season: 1 May – 16 July / 1 September – 15 November
Hunting area: Northern Spain
NOTE: During the vesting of chamois, there is the possibility of buckling deer, deer or wolf, as long as the hunting dates match.
